The whole structure, measurable from your desk.
A textured 3D mesh and point cloud of any building, bridge, tower or site. Rotate it, measure it, section it, and share a link with anyone who needs to see it.
44,000+ pilots nationwide
No lock-in, ever
Stop sending people back to site to check one dimension.
Every project has the same recurring waste: someone needs a measurement nobody took, so a person drives out, climbs up, measures one thing, and drives back. Multiply that across a job and it is weeks of somebody time.
A 3D model captures the whole structure once, accurately, so every future question can be answered from a desk. Height, span, clearance, area, volume, condition. And it can be handed to an engineer, an architect, a client or a contractor as a link rather than a description.

Rotating a captured 3D model and taking measurements from it.
Where it earns its price.
Engineering and structures
Bridges, towers, tanks and industrial plant captured in full geometry for assessment and design.
Heritage and complex buildings
Detailed capture of structures where geometry matters and scaffolding is not an option.
Construction and BIM
As built geometry compared against the model, capturing what actually got built.
Insurance and forensics
A permanent, measurable record of a structure before or after an event.
Planning and development
Existing structures in context, for design, approval documentation and stakeholder communication.
Client presentation
A model people can rotate beats twelve photographs and a paragraph of explanation.
What you get.
- Textured 3D mesh in OBJ or FBX, ready for viewing, presentation and general measurement.
- Point cloud in LAS or LAZ where you need to work with the raw geometry.
- A shareable link so anyone can open and rotate the model in a browser, no software required.
- Measurement enabled distances, areas, heights and volumes taken directly from the model.
- Georeferenced positioned in real world coordinates, in your datum.
- Delivered to your platform or held in the Aerologix portal alongside the raw capture.
Need a specific format for your BIM or engineering workflow? Tell us at ordering rather than after delivery, and we will produce it in the right format first time.

It updates as you go. No quote request, no scoping call.
A pilot captures it properly
Systematic multi angle capture, not a few photos. Processed and delivered ready to use.

| Job | What it covers | From |
|---|---|---|
| Single structure | One building, tower, bridge or piece of plant. | $900 |
| Large or complex structure | Multi storey, industrial, or significant geometric complexity. | $1,800 |
| Site with multiple structures | Several structures captured and modelled in one visit. | Quoted |
| Recurring capture | Repeat models over time, for progress or condition monitoring. | Quoted |
Processing runs on established platforms rather than software we built ourselves, which keeps the cost down and the quality up. Remote sites may carry travel, shown separately.

What we will tell you before you order.
Reflective and transparent surfaces struggle
Glass curtain walls, still water and polished metal confuse photogrammetry. Expect gaps or noise in those areas. We will flag it before flying.
It models what it can see
Undersides, interiors and heavily occluded areas will not appear. If you need those, say so and we will plan the capture differently or recommend a different method.
Thin elements need LiDAR
Cables, railings, aerials and lattice can be poorly resolved by photogrammetry. For those, LiDAR is the right tool and we will tell you.
Accuracy depends on the setup
Good for most engineering and planning purposes as flown. If you need certified survey accuracy, tell us up front so we specify ground control properly.
The things people actually ask.
How much does a 3D model from drone photos cost?
Aerologix 3D models start from $900 for a single structure such as a building, tower or bridge, and from $1,800 for large or complex structures. Sites with multiple structures and recurring capture are quoted. Quotes are unlimited and free.
What can I do with the model once I have it?
Rotate it, measure distances, areas, heights and volumes directly from it, take cross sections, compare it against your design model, and share it as a browser link with anyone who needs to see it without them installing software.
What file formats do you deliver?
Textured mesh as OBJ or FBX, point cloud as LAS or LAZ, plus a shareable browser link. Georeferenced in your datum. If you need a specific format for a BIM or engineering workflow, tell us at ordering.
How accurate is it?
Accurate enough for most engineering, planning and presentation purposes as flown. Where certified survey accuracy is required we specify ground control points and state the achieved accuracy in the capture report. Tell us the standard you need before we fly, not after.
Can you model the inside of a building?
Not with this product. Interiors and confined spaces need a caged drone and a specialist pilot, which is our Sub-Terra confined space inspection rather than standard 3D capture.
Capture it once. Measure it forever.
